Let’s Eat!
I get this weird tick sometimes where I NEED fish.
My body starts screaming “I’m deficient in marine minerals, give me fucking fish flesh!” I’m wondering if that happens for anyone else?? Especially within this intense vortex of eclipse energy.
Bueller?
Fun Fact: This eclipse energy will be with us for a few weeks. We can accomplish great things and make big changes if we work with it’s energy.
I have been feeling the need to emotionally balance through these energies and solidify my own power in my emotions and cognitive thought process. If you have been extra anxious, tired, depressed or emotionally withdrawn since the eclipse I am here to say that is all normal given what is flying around in our atmosphere.
We all need to move through these energies in the ways that are best for us individually. So, I decided to share this intentional dish to help aide in the collective re-balancing!
Why fish?
This recipe is something I ventured towards a few years ago when I had a beautiful piece of Cod loin and wanted to jazz up a recipe I found to help lift out some stuck sadness I had at the time.
Cod is known to be the go-to for Fish and Chips, Fish Tacos, etc. Boring! It’s been done. I wanted something delicious that honors the light texture of this beautiful jewel of the sea while simultaneously delivering potent flavor…AND easy and quick to prepare.
Add in the Purple Peaches Intentional Cooking Process on top of all that and you’ve got a quick, filling meal with a super star ingredient with easily prepared sides; working in tandem with your body to control + balance your emotional energy and support a healthy vessel.
The whole thing about fish, all fish (more so than shellfish), is they are incredible catalyst for emotional healing, shifts and changes. As a proud Piscean woman, I have used fish to break through certain emotional loops I have found myself in over my life, all through the intention I command each filet to absorb and deliver to my bodies.
Yes, when we eat we feed our bodies —plural— not just the physical one.
On this Tuesday, we will set our intention with the beautiful healing qualities of this Herb Crusted Cod and dress it up with some easy sides.
This is a pretty simple recipe and I’m excited to see your power come back to you by alchemizing the sea and elemental water in this way.
Now, on to the shit you need for this dish and what energetics are naturally present!
Fun Fact: if you do not use your Peach Power intention, the “other” will use theirs and it will effect you and your bodies. I spoke about this in rant #1 Why is the produce so sad?

Preparation and Intentional Cooking Process
Take a deep breath and ground yourself. The world is in a hurry, but you are not.
Connect with your Peach Power with 5 deep breaths while tapping your stomach, right above your belly button with the first two fingers on your right hand. Speak your command with sovereign authority. No energy on this Earth can override your true sovereign authority.
Preparation Command:
Out loud in a full voice is the best and most powerful way to set your intentions.
“I command the removal of all external energies off of my ingredients from corporate entities, farming, transportation, personnel and storage. I am a sovereign and natural human. I own my power. I own my health. I own my wealth.”
Now, check in with your body and your surroundings.
How do you feel? Is there a resistance? Is there a phone ringing, car honking or child crying? The first time you make this command you may feel a pressure, distraction or resistance. It’s just the old intentional energetics trying to intimidate you in your new power. Know that you hold the power to override this feeling.
Repeat command as needed.
Herb Crusted Cod Filet with couscous and Thai side salad
Yield - Serves 2-3 people
Measurements:
1 lb Cod Loin or Frozen Cod filets
1 tsp Fresh Garlic- minced
1 tsp Sea Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper
1 tsp Turmeric
1 tsp Oregano
1 tsp Paprika
2 T Parsley - dried or chopped
1/3 C Olive Oil + 1 T melted Butter
Lemon- sliced- 1 slice per Cod filet
1/4 C Red (purple) Onion- sliced
Preparation and Cooking Process:
Pre-Heat oven to 375°F.
Prepare your Cod Loin or frozen Cod filets (defrost in fridge overnight to reduce any extra “fishi-ness”, soaking in milk for 20-30 minutes also helps mitigate overly fishy scent/flavor). I used fresh Cod for this recipe but frozen Cod filets works great as well.
Intention: “I set my intention with this water to balance my emotional and physical energy with this Cod fish, breaking all loops of emotional manipulation from self and the external world.”
Set your intention as you rinse and dry your Cod segments. Rinse your Cod segments and pat dry. You’ll hear me repeat this often, water remembers. Set Cod aside on plate. If previously frozen, place Cod in milk bath to reduce fishiness (15-20 minutes).
Intention: “I set my intention for protection, cleansing and self worth. I own my emotions. I am emotionally intelligent.”
Prepare your red onion, garlic, and lemon slices. Set your intention as you mince and slice. Using a pairing knife or chef knife, mince garlic into small pieces. I like to slice my lemon and red onion about 1/4” so they are still hearty coming out of the oven.
Intention: “With these seasonings I ignite this Cod with protection, abundance, bold personal power, universal blessings and emotional stability. My energy is lifting. My waters are now clean.”
Prepare your seasoning liquid by melting butter and olive oil (omit the butter if you’d like). Add in your salt+pepper, garlic, paprika, turmeric, oregano and parsley to olive oil/butter. Lightly mix together with fork or whisk. Set your intention on your seasoning liquid and bast your Cod filets. Make sure to spoon parsley onto the tops of your filets. Sprinkle with red onion slices and top each filet with 1 slice of lemon. Let marinade for 5-10 minutes.
Place Cod filets in your 375°F oven. Bake for 20-30 minutes. Cod is done when it begins the flake. While Cod is baking, prepare your Couscous and salad.
Intention: “I set my intention for strong immunity, connection with my true community and peace within a common existence. I am healthy, accepted and loved.”
Prepare your quick and easy Couscous. Set your intention, water remembers. Follow instructions on back of package. Couscous will be ready to serve in 10 mins tops. Keep covered and set aside, for plating.
Intention: “I set my intention to ignite my personal power to alchemize this meal for my highest good. I am my own power source. I am in control of my health.”
Mix your bag salad (or prepare a fresh salad of your own). Set your Intention with tossing and mixing your salad accoutrements together.
Ding Ding! Cod is ready! Remove your Cod from the oven and let sit for a minute or 2.
Remove from pan with fish spatula and plate with your light + lovely Couscous and side salad.
Enjoy your intentional dinner!
